This is a story about collaboration for the creation of fair and sustainable nutrition for all, enabled by shared commitment to impact in SDG2 Zero Hunger, SDG12 Sustainable Development and Production, and SDG17 Partnership for the Goals. The Blendhub localized food production model is centered around local community collaboration. This model has brought together farmers and small entrepreneurs enabled by eKutir, and humanitarian development organizations enabled by Partnerships for Change, for the reevaluation of the Ragi supply chain to create nutrition and economy around a highly undervalued raw material. Blendhub is deploying a global network of localized food production hubs. These hubs are the heart of our Food-as-a-service model that helps any local entrepreneur go from idea to market with a food product, removing inefficient steps along the supply chain like nonvalue producing stakeholders or extra costs (unnecessary transport, import/export duties) from the Ragi supply chain in India. eKutir is helping farmers control and optimize production through their soil to shelf digital tool FarmeX and promoting local entrepreneurs to launch products based on the local Ragi production in India. Partnerships for Change is promoting sustainable development through direct humanitarian intervention. They are collaborating with RIST and Swabhimaan for development of the Koramangala slum in Bengaluru, India. #VR
